Dr Katie Smithers graduated in 2015 from the University of Liverpool. She has always been interested in pain management and undertook additional study to become an RCVS recognised Advanced Practioner in Veterinary Anaesthesia. She currently runs a peripatetic pain management, rehabilitation and anaesthesia service in South Wales. Her goal is to improve pain management options for all our veterinary patients and a large portion of her clinical time is spent helping patients with osteoarthritis. ’
