Duana Graduated from the University of Sydney in 2004. She completed an Emergency and Critical Care (ECC) residency programme at Murdoch University in Australia, gaining her Diploma in ECC in 2013 from the American College of Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care. She is currently undertaking a Masters's in Medical Simulation Training and Patient Safety with the National University of Ireland. She has been working at VetsNow Manchester and with their Cutting Edge programme since 2021. Her clinical interests include coagulation, sepsis and CPR, and she has a strong interest in non-technical skills, simulation training and debriefing.
