Ellen graduated from Tufts University and arrived at the University of Liverpool via time in practice and a surgical residency in Canada. Ellen was a core member of the surgical team at the University of Liverpool from 1995-2018. Currently, she a surgeon at Sussex Equine Hospital. Ellen has served as veterinary surgeon for many national and international horse trials and race meetings, including: Haydock and Aintree Racecourses, Blenheim and Bramham Three Day Events. Ellen values the experience gained from this type of work and the opportunity it affords to meet other veterinary colleagues and to watch horses performing as athletes.
