After graduating from Ghent University, Evi began her career in first opinion veterinary practice in the UK. During a rotating internship at a private oncology referral centre, she developed a keen interest in veterinary oncology, prompting her to pursue an oncology internship and residency at Edinburgh University. Having achieved ECVIM Diplomate status, she continued working at The Royal Dick School of Veterinary Studies as a lecturer. In 2021 she relocated to Belgium, to develop the oncology service at a private referral centre. Since February 2024 she also joined the UK medical oncology consulting team at IDEXX.
