Fiona’s current role is Director of Membership and Communication at the British Veterinary Association. She has worked in the veterinary profession for 30 years and is an experienced senior leader skilled in Veterinary Medicine, Communications, Animal Welfare, Recruitment, HR, Budget Management, Mentoring, and strategic planning. She holds postgraduate qualifications in diagnostic imaging and has completed a CIPR Specialist Diploma in Internal Communications. She has a particular interest in listening and dialogue and their impact on engagement and retention. She is passionate about looking after and listening to her colleagues, mentoring veterinary professionals and bringing about positive change in the profession.
