Francesca (Chez) started her equine veterinary career in a busy equine hospital where she was an intern and later worked in equine ambulatory practice. She soon discovered her love for ophthalmology and the exciting developing speciality of equine ophthalmology. Chez left equine practice to complete an ophthalmology residency in 2017. Chez helped to set up the only UK purely equine ophthalmology practice travelling all over the country doing referral equine ophthalmology consultations and surgery. Chez has a true passion for ensuring ophthalmology is performed at the highest standards in equine practice and that horses are offered the advanced and extensive options comparable to those available in human and small animal ophthalmology.
