Professor Gerry Amor Camer, DVM, MS, PhD, FPCVPH, is University Professor at the University of Eastern Philippines and former Guest Professor/Researcher at Rakuno Gakuen University, Japan. He is an internationally recognized veterinary pathologist and public health researcher specializing in molecular diagnostics, synthetic DNA development, veterinary pathology, and One Health. His pioneering work includes novel synthetic DNA technologies for dengue, Zika, and other flaviviruses, and he is currently advancing AI- and machine learning–assisted approaches for LAMP diagnostics. He has published extensively in international peer-reviewed journals and actively collaborates with leading researchers in Japan and the United Kingdom.
