Dr. Gerry Amor Camer, DVM, MS, PhD, FPCVPH, is a University Professor at the University of Eastern Philippines and a former Guest Professor and Researcher at Rakuno Gakuen University, Japan. He is a public health researcher specializing in molecular diagnostics, synthetic DNA development, veterinary pathology, and One Health. He has co-developed novel synthetic DNA technologies for dengue and other flaviviruses and currently advances AI- and machine-learning-assisted approaches to LAMP diagnostics. He has published extensively in peer-reviewed journals and maintains active research collaborations with scientists in Japan and the United Kingdom.
