Hannah Mortlock

Consulting Nurse
Hannah qualified as a Registered Veterinary Nurse in 2018 and has spent over 5 years working as a Consulting Nurse, developing a particular interest in nurse-led clinics, client education and supporting patients throughout different stages of their lives. During this time, Hannah has been instrumental in redeveloping the nurse-led clinics within the practice, reviewing and expanding the services nurses can offer and developing the resources and processes needed to support them. She is passionate about making full use of the skills and knowledge of RVNs, while providing clients with accessible, consistent support and improving continuity of care for their pets. Alongside her clinical role, Hannah is also involved in education and training within the practice, supporting staff development and CPD. Hannah has a keen interest in quality improvement, sustainability and practice development. She has supported the practice in achieving RCVS Hospital Status and contributed to achieving Outstanding in all six RCVS Practice Standards Scheme Awards entered. She led the practice to achieve Rabbit Friendly Practice Silver accreditation and CAETA Peaceful End-of-Life Practice Certification and is currently leading the practice’s Investors in the Environment (iiE) project, working towards the Green accreditation. Following an injury at the end of 2025, Hannah temporarily stepped away from clinical nursing but has remained actively involved in practice development and improvement projects. Outside of work, Hannah enjoys spending time with her family and dogs (Loki and Nooks) and looking after her ever-growing collection of houseplants.
