Professor Hany Elsheikha is a leading expert in veterinary parasitology and Chair of Interdisciplinary Parasitology at the University of Nottingham. A Diplomate of the European Veterinary Parasitology College, he is internationally recognised for his pioneering research on host–parasite interactions and the development of novel antiparasitic therapies. He also serves as Head of ESCCAP UK & Ireland. Professor Elsheikha has authored and edited nine influential parasitology books and published more than 400 scientific articles, making significant contributions to advancing parasitology research and practice worldwide.
