Huw has worked in industry relevant R&D applied to livestock production and animal health for over 25 years, and has a particular specialism in applications of genetics and genomic tools. He has a PhD in animal genetics from the University of Edinburgh and has worked in several senior roles across academia, intermediary and industry organisations, including as Head of Agriculture for the KTN and CTO for Roslin Technologies. He has also been an advisor and NED on several external committee’s and commercial boards, including serving on two expert committees for the UK Government (UKGLE and ACRE).
