As Chief Medical Officer for Mars Petcare’s Science & Diagnostics division, Jimmy Barr, DVM, DACVECC, oversees the quality organization and leads the medical teams at Antech’s veterinary diagnostics business. Additionally, Jimmy serves a key role in connecting Science & Diagnostics with the Mars Petcare ecosystem and the veterinary profession. Jimmy served as Blue Pearl’s CMO for 6 years before taking his current post. He currently serves as the Chair of the Board of Chief Veterinary Medical Officers, which is an important collective of over 60 top veterinary medical leaders from across the profession representing various industry segments.
