Since graduating as a vet in 1998, James has always had a strong interest in pain management in animals, and has undertaken additional training in anaesthesia and achieved both Masters’ and Doctorate degrees related to pain management in dogs and cats, and is a recognised Specialist in Animal Welfare Science, Ethics, and Law. He runs a referral pain clinic in Somerset, UK, treating mainly osteoarthritic, neuropathic, myofascial, and visceral pain problems.
