Director of operations,
British Animal Rescue and Trauma Care Association
Jim Green has spent many years developing protocols and training for situations where emergency responders encounter animals, both through his role in the fire and rescue service and now as Director of the British Animal Rescue and Trauma Care Association which he co-founded with Prof Josh Slater. These issues are universal and Jim worked at the University of California School of Veterinary Medicine for a year, supporting the integration of veterinarians with emergency service responders during wildfires and other disasters. In the UK Jim and his team prepare first responders and vets for everyday emergencies, working together to improve outcomes for people and animals.
