Qualified in South Africa way back when and moved to the UK in 2000, starting with Medivet as a fist opinion vet and eventually a branch partner. Gained RCVS certificate in 2004 and has been seeing a mix of first and second-option eye cases ever since. Recognised as RCVS advanced practitioner in 2015. John left full-time practice in 2016 and now spends the majority of his time in a Leadership role while all clinical time is now spent in ophthalmology (because clinic teams and clinical is still his passion!)
