Kate is a qualified veterinary nurse working as an orthopaedic RVN at the Queen Mother Hospital for Animals and a Clinical Educator within the Centre for Veterinary Nursing at the Royal Veterinary College.
Kate qualified with and FdSc in Veterinary Nursing from Nottingham Trent university in 2011. She worked in small first opinion practices and then busy hospitals, including working abroad in the Middle East. Kate continued her studies with a Nursing certificate from Improve International in Anaesthesia and then more recently in Surgical Nursing. She first started working in the Queen Mother Hospital for Animals at the RVC as a circulating theatre nurse, then went on to specialise in her favourite subject, orthopaedics as a service nurse. Currently she is completing a PGCert in veterinary education.
