Krista graduated from the University of Utrecht in the Netherlands in 2001. She stayed at the university to undertake an internship in small animal medicine and surgery. She completed a small animal internal medicine residency at the University of Pennsylvania in the USA and is both an RCVS-recognized and American-Board-Certified Veterinary Specialist in Small Animal Internal Medicine. Krista has worked in several busy emergency and private referral practices in the USA and the UK before joining the IDEXX consulting team in 2016. She enjoys all aspects of internal medicine but she has particular interest in endocrinology and gastro-enterology.
