Laura’s passion lies in working on solutions to help make the veterinary profession a more sustainable one. Laura has been a small animal vet for 14 years, most of this has been at Paragon Veterinary Group. For the last 4 years Laura has been the lead on the group's sustainability project, making significant changes to reduce their environmental impact. Laura has committed (via SME climate hub) Paragon to being net zero by 2030. Paragon was the first practice to be awarded the RCVS PSS Environmental Sustainability award. Earlier this year Laura was awarded Greenest Vet of the year by the Webinar Vet and Paragon received the Greenest Practice award. Laura sits on the Vet Sustain Greener Veterinary Practice working group and provides the XLVets membership with sustainability support.
