Lauren graduated from vet school in the UK in 2011. Her main love has always been small animals, with a focus on chronic pain conditions such as osteoarthritis. In 2019 due to family circumstances, Lauren left the veterinary profession for human healthcare, developing clinical mattresses for people in hospital, hospice and nursing home settings. Now, Lauren puts all her energy into her own business, VetRelieve, developing beds for pets that support their sleep quality and joint health along with advocacy for the importance of sleep on pain perception and wellbeing, including lecturing on sleep hygiene.
