Linda Belton
President,
RCVS
Linda qualified from Bristol University Vet School in 1991 and worked in mixed practice for six years, initially in Hampshire, and then solely as an equine clinician. She is a Director of The George Veterinary Group where she has worked since 1992; during this time the practice has developed into a 40+ vet practice operating in the companion animal, equine, farm, and pig sectors.
Since 2015, she has taken on a leadership and management role across the group, ensuring it continues to develop its clinical standards, becomes a place of choice to work, and remains a commercial success in a fast-changing market. This role has brought her into wider contact with more vets, nurses, and suppliers to the industry, and a greater understanding of many of the issues facing clinicians in the profession.
Linda is a member of BVA, BEVA and SPVS. She is married to a farmer and they have two adult children. Linda is a long time supporter and trustee of Brooke, a charity supporting working equids.
