Linda qualified from Bristol University Vet School in 1991 and worked in mixed practice for six years, initially in Hampshire, and then solely as an equine clinician. She is a Director of The George Veterinary Group where she has worked since 1992; during this time the practice has developed into a 40+ vet practice operating in the companion animal, equine, farm, and pig sectors. Since 2015, she has taken on a leadership and management role across the group, ensuring it continues to develop its clinical standards, becomes a place of choice to work, and remains a commercial success in a fast-changing market. This role has brought her into wider contact with more vets, nurses, and suppliers to the industry, and a greater understanding of many of the issues facing clinicians in the profession. Linda is a member of BVA, BEVA and SPVS. She is married to a farmer and they have two adult children. Linda is a long time supporter and trustee of Brooke, a charity supporting working equids.
