Lou qualified as a Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) in 2009 and has gained experience in both first opinion practices and a referral hospital. She holds additional certificates in anaesthesia and emergency critical care (ECC). Currently, Lou is the Clinical Lead RVN at a busy primary care practice in Buckinghamshire and also educates veterinary teams about Quality Improvement for RCVS Knowledge. Recognised for her contributions, she received the RCVS Inspiration Award in 2019 and is a two-time RCVS Knowledge Champion for her clinical audits that improved patient outcomes in anaesthesia and postoperative care.
