Lynda graduated from the Royal (Dick) Veterinary College, Edinburgh in 2005. She then worked in a busy first opinion small animal practice in for 3 years before embarking on a rotating internship at the Royal Veterinary College (RVC), London in 2009. Lynda then undertook and completed a residency in small animal surgery, also at the RVC. Lynda became a Diplomate of the European College of Veterinary Surgeons and an RCVS Recognised Specialist in Small Animal Surgery in 2015. Since her residency Lynda has been working as a small animal surgery clinician and lecturer at RVC and more recently at the University of Edinburgh. She enjoys working in a multi-disciplinary team and appreciates the challenges of a busy operating schedule with lots of interesting oncologic surgical cases with big masses!
