Maria Reynolds Brandão is a veterinary surgeon currently undertaking an ACVIM Large Animal Internal Medicine residency at the Royal Veterinary College (RVC). She graduated from the University of Lisbon in 2019, before completing an internship in Belgium and working at the Equine Hospital of the University of Lisbon, followed by time in ambulatory equine practice in the UK. She later completed a two-year Ultrasound and Cardiology Fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania’s New Bolton Center. She has a strong interest in large animal cardiology, particularly in equine patients, but also in camelids and ruminants, alongside a broader focus on equine internal medicine.
