Maria graduated with distinction from The University of Liverpool in 2018. After graduation, she completed the PDSA's New Graduate Scheme and continued her employment with the PDSA. In 2020 she transferred to private practice, where she worked in an emergency out of hours hospital and later as a locum. She joined the IDEXX Medical Consulting team in 2023. She enjoys all aspects of medicine, particularly, feline medicine.
