Mary Schwartz, CVT has over a decade of experience in the veterinary industry. Starting in equine medicine, she moved into leadership as a Technician Manager, later becoming a CVT in Florida and Practice Manager at a busy 5-DVM clinic, overseeing a 30-person team and full operations. In 2020, Mary joined PetDesk, which supports 3,000+ clinics in engaging clients and prioritising pet care. As PetDesk's Manager of Community Engagement and Advocacy, she builds programs that connect veterinary professionals with the tools, insights, and peers that help them thrive. Mary leads initiatives such as the Customer Advisory Board, podcast, and educational partnerships that elevate the voice of the veterinary team within PetDesk’s ecosystem. Passionate about improving both client communication and team culture, Mary draws on her clinical background to bridge the gap between technology and practice life—ensuring innovation in veterinary software always reflects the needs of those on the front lines of animal care.
