Mike graduated from Cambridge Vet School and then spent 4 years in mixed practice in the Cotswolds. From there he moved to Minster Veterinary Practice. In 2011 he completed an MBA at Nottingham Vet School. For the last 4 years Mike has been a consultant poultry veterinary adviser at Boehringer Ingelheim. He is clinical associate professor in poultry medicine & agribusiness at Nottingham Vet School, where he is divisional head of population science, senior tutor and deputy clinical director. Mike is currently president of the British Veterinary Poultry Association. He is an associate editor of Veterinary Medicine and Science and co-edited and authored Poultry Health: A Guide for Professionals.
