After graduating from University College Dublin, Myles started his career in general practice before completing a small animal internship at Cornell University in New York and a residency in small animal internal medicine at the RVC. He is recognized as a specialist in small animal internal medicine by the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine and European College of Internal Medicine and was awarded an RCVS fellowship in 2025. He has worked in a variety of roles in private referral practice, academia, and industry. He is currently the Global Director of Veterinary Operations for Internal Medicine at Zoetis.
