Nicola Menzies-Gow

Nicola qualified from Cambridge University in 1997 and joined a first opinion equine practice in Essex. In 2000, she joined the Royal Veterinary College as a senior clinical training scholar in equine medicine. In 2004, Nicola gained a PhD in equine endotoxemia and in 2005 became a Diplomat of European College of Equine Internal medicine. In 2005, Nicola was appointed as a lecturer in equine medicine at RVC and has been sequentially promoted to Professor. Nicola's research interests focus on equine laminitis and insulin dysregulation. She is the Chair of the RVC Clinical Research Ethical Review Board and the Research Director for the Department of Clinical Sciences and Services.
