Non graduated from the University of Bristol in 2003 and entered predominantly farm animal practice, focusing on dairy cattle health and disease. Since 2022, she has worked as a Veterinary Investigation Officer at APHA Carmarthen, contributing to surveillance through disease investigation and diagnostic testing. She has recently undertaken a temporary role as Veterinary Lead of the Wildlife Expert Group within the Surveillance Intelligence Unit at APHA. She retains a particular interest in the investigation and characterisation of new and re-emerging cattle-related threats, including diagnostic challenges such as the bovine abortion case presented at this conference.
