Orla is a registered dietitian working in Cardiff and Vale UHB and alongside this role she provides Motivational Interviewing (MI) training across the UK to a wide variety of organisations and co-trains with Prof Stephen Rollnick, co-founder of MI. Orla first came to MI in 2006 and became a member of MINT (Motivational Interviewing Network of Trainers) in 2011, she was then successful in attaining the new MINT Trainer Certification in 2023. She currently serves as Chair on the MINT UK & Ireland committee. Orla also completed training in MI coding using MITI (Motivational Interviewing Treatment Integrity) and MICA (Motivational Interviewing Competency Assessment).
