Paul has had a varied career so far, initially an Officer in the military, Paul left and trained as a vet, but kept his links with the military, returning to the front line in Afghanistan in 2012. Paul qualified from RVC in 2000 and after an Internship, joined Westpoint Farm Vets, becoming a Partner, along the way. In 2015 the business was sold to Private Equity and Paul remained as Managing Director of the fam animal side of the business until 2017. Paul then diversified away from clinical practice and set up Sandstone Communications, a global leadership training company, together with some other interesting people he had met along the way, from business leaders, Olympians, Fighter pilots and elite military operators. Paul has recently joined IVC Evidensia as Group Veterinary Advisor for the Farm team. Paul has a DBR, is Treasurer of Vetlife, is on BVA Board, is a mental health 1st aider, is a founder of VetYou, and has recently started a podcast called Because I Can.
