Peter qualified in Hannover/Germany in 1990 and moved to the UK in 1994, working first in mixed and then in farm practice, developing special interests in nutrition, mastitis, calf health and organic farming. In 2017 Peter joined the Royal Veterinary College, predominantly teaching final year rotation students as well as doing research and consultancy, mainly on mastitis and calf health. In 2023 Peter bacame a Diplomat of the European College of Bovine Health Management.
