Phill graduated from the Dick in 1993 and spent the next 9 years in mixed practice before completing the MSc in Wild Animal Health at the IOZ/RVC. Various jobs in zoo/wildlife work followed, both in the UK and in east Asia, before returning to the UK to set up a small animal practice, founded on the principle of One Health. Small World Vet Centre opened in Liphook, Hampshire, in 2015 with the twin objectives of maintaining an excellent reputation for patient care while also using this as a platform for making a genuinely positive environmental impact, by any means necessary!
