Philippa graduated from Harper Adams University in 2013 with a first-class honours degree. Philippa worked in a first opinion hospital, progressing to head nurse, before joining Oakwood Veterinary Referrals in 2020. Philippa has post-graduate certificates in emergency and critical care and medical nursing. Philippa is a tutor for the Vets Now ECC certificate. In addition to internal medicine and ECC, Philippa is interested in the impact of parasitic disease on human and animal health. Philippa is a member of ESCCAP UK & Ireland and has published several peer reviewed articles on the veterinary nurse’s role in parasitology. Philippa is also an editorial board member for The Veterinary Nurse.
