After graduating from UCD, Rachel undertook an internship at Mississippi State University and spent several years in general practice before completing a residency and Master’s degree in cardiology at the University of Edinburgh. She now works as a Senior Lecturer in Cardiology at the University of Edinburgh, splitting her time between clinical work, teaching undergraduate and postgraduate students and research.
