Rachel has a strong clinical and research interest in sport horse training, injury, performance and rehabilitation, graduating from University of Cambridge before specialising in equine surgery in the USA. She spent 3 years as equine surgeon at Cambridge Veterinary school then 22 years at the Animal Health Trust running the equine MRI diagnostic service, orthopaedic research group and providing a clinical service focused on poor performance and rehabilitation, moving to Rossdales in 2019. Rachel is Head of Equine Clinical Support for VetCT and also works as an advisor and GB World Class programme/team vet for British Equestrian since 2009.
