Rebecca Geddes

Rebecca graduated from the University of Cambridge in 2007. She spent 3 years in first opinion small animal practice and completed a certificate in feline medicine before moving to the Royal Veterinary College (RVC) in 2010 to start a PhD. Her thesis focused on calcium and phosphate homeostasis in cats with chronic kidney disease. Rebecca then stayed at the RVC to undertake a rotating internship and subsequently a residency in small animal internal medicine, gaining her ACVIM diploma in 2018. She currently works as Faculty at the RVC, is an RCVS Specialist in small animal medicine and is a Founding Member of the American College for Veterinary Nephrology and Urology. Rebecca is particularly interested in endocrinology and nephrology. Her current research interests include CKD, hypercalcaemia, nephrolithiasis, and mineral and bone disorders.
