Rob graduated from the RVC in 1996 and spent four years in mixed general practice before undertaking his Residency training at the University of Cambridge. He then founded the medicine and oncology services at Dick White Referrals where he stayed for 18 years. After leaving DWR he worked for Virtual Veterinary Specialists for two years before co-founding Granta Veterinary Specialists in 2024 where he is currently a practicing clinician and a Director. He is also Professor of Small Animal Medicine at the University of Nottingham and he has lectured throughout Europe on many aspects of small animal medicine and oncology.
