Rob graduated from Bristol University in 1998 completed a residency in Equine Ophthalmology in 2003. His RCVS Diploma thesis looked at fundus lesions in horses pre and post mortem. He founded Optivet Referrals in 2006 becoming an RCVS Specialist a few years later. He has lectured on most aspects of veterinary ophthalmology.
