Rosie is a 2006 graduate of the RVC and returned to complete a residency in Equine Internal medicine in 2008. During this time, she developed an interest in neuromuscular disease, completing a masters project on type 1 polysaccharide storage myopathy and gaining the ACVIM diploma in large animal internal medicine in 2011. Rosie then completed a PhD investigating the effect of amino acid supplementation and exercise on muscle protein synthesis in the horse at the Comparative Neuromuscular Diseases Laboratory before returning to clinical practice, joining the Referrals team at Newmarket Equine Hospital. Rosie then spent 4 years in the veterinary pharmaceutical industry before joining CVS in 2021, where she is Director of Clinical Procurement and Sustainability. Rosie has published many papers, book chapters and lectured internationally on muscle disease in the horse.
