Ruth has spent her working life in charity practice, primary care emergency clinics and in both undergraduate and postgraduate education, now working with the VDS training team. Ruth was a core member of the StreetVet team during the initial development of the charity. She is interested in communication, specifically the way we use language in society, including workplaces. As a member of the Veterinary Humanities UK group, Ruth co-authored a paper on contextualised care with the aim of bringing a realistic and holistic view of how we make and enact decisions involving our patients.
