Sally qualified from Bristol University in 1981 and spent most of her working life in small animal practice. Following a PhD at Nottingham University, looking at clinical decision making in veterinary practice, she joined BSAVA as their head of scientific policy. She was a member of the BVA Policy Committee for 6 years and has recently chaired their Companion Animal Feeding Working Group. She currently provides clinical support to the Library and Information Services at RCVS Knowledge.
