Sandra graduated from the Autonomous University of Barcelona. From 2016 to 2019 she completed an oncology internship followed by an ECVIM approved oncology residency at the Small Animal Teaching Hospital from the University of Liverpool. She was awarded the ECVIM-CA Diploma in Oncology in 2021, becoming a European recognised Specialist in Veterinary Oncology. She is currently the co-head of the oncology service at the Royal Veterinary College.
