
Sara Jackson
Trainer and Veterinary Surgeon,
VetLed and BVA Council Member
Sara graduated from vet school in 2010 . During nearly a decade of working in ECC Sara discovered her passion for all non-technical skills as she feels they are the foundation block for staff well-being, optimal client care and excellent patient safety. Sara has been able to use these skills in unique settings such as Europe’s longest sled-dog race.
Sara’s focus in non-technical skills has been reflecting on what goes well, taking a wholistic approach to mistakes and developing workplaces which promote a just culture
Sara has a multi-portfolio working life combining training for Vetled, working as a BVA veterinary greater workplaces accreditor, teaching for Veterinary Taskforce, as well working clinically as a locum.
Outside of work Sara loves to spend time in the outdoors with her husband, Guy and her dogs, Trojan and Ajax.
