Sarah qualified as an RVN in 2008 and has a vast amount of experience in a general practice setting. Sarah started her career with a passion for animal behaviour and welfare which led her to gain a certificate in feline and canine behaviour. She has previously been a head RVN, clinical coach and assisted in setting up a veterinary practice. Sarah has also had experience working with both British and African wildlife. In 2016, Sarah made the leap into referral nursing and joined the team at Aura Veterinary (previously Fitzpatrick referrals). Sarah is now the senior medical oncology nurse and one of four RVNs in the UK to have gained a specialist VTS qualification in oncology. She is also currently Honorary Treasurer for The British Veterinary Nursing Association. She has a passion for patient and client care for veterinary oncology patients, both during treatment and end-of-life care.
