Sophie graduated in the last century and has had a career that has included primary care, charity work, undergraduate and post-graduate education, university referral work and private practice referrals. She was the first Emergency and Critical Care Diplomate to train in the UK, the first RCVS specialist in ECC and a founding diplomate of the European College of ECC.  She ran the largest internship programme at the Royal Veterinary College which supported the development of a PG qualification awarding internship at the University of Bristol.  Her clinical interests have always been haematology and transfusion medicine. Sophie's main focus over the last few years has been supporting vets and nurses to deliver the highest possible quality care while enjoying their work and developing their own skill set.
