Sophie graduated from the University of Nottingham in 2012, and went on to complete an internship and residency at the RVC, allowing her to complete a masters in Veterinary Epidemiology and Public Health, along with her European Diploma in Bovine Health and Management. She continued to work in academia, with her PhD focusing on various aspects of calf housing. She now works full time as both a lecturer and researcher at the RVC.
