Stephen graduated from the Royal Veterinary College in 1991, then worked in mixed and small animal practice for a number of years, becoming a partner in a busy veterinary hospital. An interest in cardiology led to RCVS Certificate in Veterinary Cardiology (1997), and progressed into a full-time career as a veterinary cardiologist. Following an alternative track residency, he gained RCVS Diploma in Veterinary Cardiology and became a RCVS Recognised Specialist in Veterinary Cardiology in 2012.
Stephen, a founder member of Southern Counties Veterinary Specialists, is now Hospital Director at SCVS and the National Cardiology Lead for the IVC Evidensia Referral Division.
