Thomas Heaselgrave is a Neurology Clinician at Willows Veterinary Centre and Referral Service and an Associate Assistant Professor in Veterinary Neurology at the University of Nottingham. He has a particular interest in neurosurgical cases, with extensive experience managing acute spinal emergencies and performing spinal decompressive surgery. Alongside his clinical work, Thomas is passionate about teaching and supporting veterinary professionals in developing confidence in neurology. During his talk, he will share practical, evidence-based approaches to recognising and managing spinal emergencies in general practice, with a focus on patient specific approaches.
