Tom graduated from the Royal Veterinary College in 2010. Following an internship at Langford Veterinary Services and 4 years working in emergency practice, he finished his residency in Emergency and Critical Care in 2018, gaining ACVECC Diplomate status the same year. In 2021, he achieved ECVECC Diplomate status and RCVS Specialist recognition. His clinical interests focus on extracorporeal therapies, including clinical perfusion, dialysis and plasma exchange, as well as multiple organ dysfunction syndrome, sepsis and acute postoperative cardiothoracic critical care.
