Ulrike Hoffmann-Johnson graduated from the University of Giessen, Germany, in 2002. Following graduation, she moved to the UK in 2004 and worked in small animal practice in Devon before joining St Clair Vets in Scotland in 2015, where she now serves as Clinical Director.
A passionate small animal general practitioner, Ulrike enjoys the breadth and variety of first-opinion practice and is committed to delivering high-quality, compassionate care to her patients. Her clinical interests include internal medicine, cardiology, dentistry, preventative healthcare, and diagnostic imaging. Alongside her clinical role, she has a strong interest in veterinary leadership, team development, and creating sustainable, positive workplace cultures within veterinary practice.
Ulrike has completed both the Certificate in Advanced Veterinary Practice (CertAVP) and a Postgraduate Certificate in Veterinary Business Management (PgCertVBM), reflecting her commitment to excellence in both clinical care and practice leadership.
Outside of work, Ulrike enjoys open-water swimming and hiking Scotland's Munros, activities that allow her to recharge and make the most of the country's stunning landscapes.
